The snail and mushrooms are carved from chinaberry wood the base is made from parasite wood. Parasite wood is a parasitic plant that grows on a host tree. The unique structures are the result of a parasitic mistletoe plant that grows on trees in Bali, commonly the chinaberry tree. The plants are collected by artisans who create wonderful carvings.
