Hand Carved Wooden Nesting Bird

A delicate hand carved bird perching over a nest formed from a naturally occuring parasitic wood (wood rose). Would be nice as a gift or something to treat yourself. The bird and eggs are carved from chinaberry wood and the nest is made from parasite wood. Parasite wood is a parasitic plant that grows on a host tree. The unique structures are the result of a parasitic mistletoe plant that grows on trees in Bali, commonly the chinaberry tree. The plants are collected by artisans who create wonderful carvings.
