The business was set originally by my partner and myself originating from a holiday, before we owned a café on the seafront.

One year (1997) we decided to go away but could not decide where to go, back then you still had brochures, so we flicked through one and mentioned which ever page it stops on that is where we will go, Bali was the page it landed on. We went back each year while we had the café buying items to decorate the café and sell.

In 2003 we set up Dreamtime UK, in the meantime we had established good solid relationships with some of the carvers and their families and it has grown from there. Whilst the business has grown over the years it has been a pleasure to watch their families grow up, having birthdays, some getting married and blossoming.

In 2016 sadly my partner passed away, I am now running the business with great friends here and in Bali.

We all now enjoy selling all the products to everyone whether its online or at shopping centres.

Selling hand carved wooden sculptures, handicraft and small furniture from Indonesia. All sourced by ourselves direct from the people that make it, the best kind of Fairtrade. Everything is made from sustainable resources.
